OK, now that I can't get Douglas, I have found some young guys with potential who are a lot cheaper and can make a team of them no problem.
Hewawasm, Wilson, Austin, McIntyre, Thornton, Mirzaa, Johnstone.
That is 7 players, should get them for a combined cost of less than Douglas.

EDIT: Also Drury but he doesn't end for a few days.

probably never going to be a good player for you
but u could keep him for now train up his technique and when that gets to
capable put him on the market and make some cash

Don't bother with him. Not good enough for a senior. Technique is plain horrible.

Hopefully for your sake, my guys don't spike up that high!!! But I need the cash :P.

Q at the moment I use my youth squad to develop my players I play my 16 year olds no mater what skill and I play people who are skilled. (get a bonus from doing it in the game)
Don't mind if I win or lose, just if my players improve.

I do. Am undefeated so far 8).

Youths were average last season. Now I have some hope to be great next 3 seasons with 2 massive prospects and a few solid players.

3rd over sees one of my openers get out cheaply for only 1 run ::). Then arguably my best 2 batsman in the team lead it to a steady 109 from 18 overs :D.
