My thoughts exactly, and with an injury like that, I dare say Andrews may not return to the same level of footy he was playing. Such a heavy knock can cause issues for the rest of the season if not longer. Feel as though he might need to be traded straight back out again.

Andrews was actually sitting up and joking on the bench at end of game. Had stitches in his face.  So outside chance of next week if he passes concussion protocols but would he fly to Perth Probably not so maybe only a week missed.
Based on the AFL Rules think the incident will be rated severe high contact with 3 weeks + tribunal.

Brisbane Lions defender Harris Andrews was admitted to hospital last night after his condition worsened following an incident in yesterday’s match against GWS.
So not expecting to risk him on flight to Freo. Gardiner may also not be risked with his ankle injury.
