Seems a bit of a stretch Balme saying Dusty has been carrying it for a few weeks , do they really let players go that long with a calf problem ? think there is a fair bit about missing his dad in this week off as well and would not hold my breath thinking he will play next week , you would think Miles would come in and be a good replacement .

They have a bye in 2 weeks so surely he could wait until then if it was just because he missed his dad.
Could explain some of his recent scores if there's been a niggle there. Hopefully this freshens him up to start pumping out big scores in the second half of the season

Neale is very worrying. Freo could basically forfeit this match with no Fyfe, and just not risk Neale.
And Freo play 2nd last match of the round, so a late out is uncoverable.

Devon Smith finished the game with his right calf heavily iced up.
From the sound of his post-game interview, there is definitely a concern with it. Hopefully he'll be ok due to the bye coming up this week which will give him a break.
