Garlett to Guelfi feels like a no-brainer.

Garlett has DPP. Could be useful to keep him to swing him around when need be. As an M11 when most probably have 6 keepers in the mids, Kelly and Holman on field (maybe swung Finlayson into the mids as well) then that mid cash gen may still be fine with Garlett as a floating donut.

I'd be trading Venables, ZGL etc for Guelfi if people still have them on the forward bench. That is on the proviso that ZGL doesn't come back next week which is a possibility.

Yeah good point. I've already used his DPP to trade and probably will again this week. Don't know if Carlton have many options and he's only played one bad game.

I figure ZGL is back this weekend so I'm keeping him, don't really have anyone else and I don't wanna miss the Guelfi boat (already missed out on some other decent choices), got Crowden last week who I swung into my fwds so I didn't have to play Garlett. The other option is Fritsch out, which given today's news, might be the go.

Higgins could get dropped again, the depth of smallish fwds at Richmond makes him a huge gamble.
Garlett has played one bad game and could easily come back in, that's if he's dropped to begin with.

Fair comment Risks involved both ways so will be assessed closer to the games.

Given injuries, suspension and possible omissions in the forward line, might grab both, avoid a donut and open up a DPP link with the mids.

Higgins is great to watch,  not sure he will be a good sc rookie.   Be a late decision after teams announced and a bit of time has passed.

With Rioli back in a few weeks and Bolton always knocking on the door it would only take one bad game to have him back in the 2's though.

Brought Higgo in for Fritsch with 3 minutes to spare before Melb/Rich. If only I fielded him over Guelfi.
