Im almost certain finlayson is a keeper, he can score in so many ways, and he always has that back up of taking the kickouts and teammates looking to get him a kick because its so damaging.

Very well could be

Finlayson, Doedee, Murray is a great D4-6

I just need to turn Bonner into Yeo and then I'll keep them all as is whilst I work on other lines

That's the plan, if the carnage can stop

I was confident Holman would bounce back and that last week was just a one off stinker

Kelly and Holman as M7/8 can continue on whilst I deal with other problem rookies

Are we convinced on Mirra? I'll need one rookie this week, and as far as I know Mirra, Guelfi, Cunico (too expensive) and Bailey are the choices

As a D8 he will be fine.

Holman repaying the faith

Depends, Guelfi a good option at F6, Mirra makes for a smart trade with Naughton.

I don't see the need to move Naughton on

JS is rock solid, 60+ and 70+ last two weeks, feel like he's a solid D7

I'll be punting Venables, and I can get either Mirra or Guelfi

Naughton to Mirra = 150k

I reckon Naughton has another 50k to make but Mirra is the last of the dirt cheap rookies. Wasn't overly impressed but he only needs 3 price rises.

As for D7, I'd be wanting one of Murray, Doedee or Finlayson in there by the time the byes roll around.

Yeah I'm not saying Naughton is a great D7 for the long term, but for now he certainly is and those 3 you mentioned are on field

Venables needs to go, so Venables to Mirra for 70k is the likely move. Not ideal, but Venables just needs to go. I will look at Naughton to Mirra to Venables to prem, but not sure I'll have many options in that scenario

Mirra didnt set the world on fire. But at 102K the money you make is fantastic. Will see how the essendon bloke goes before i make a decision.

Happy with crowden at f6. Recoverd well seeing as he was under 20 at half time

Would come as no great surprise to see Garlett omitted on Thursday night, barely involved on Saturday and the few chances he did have to impact the game he fumbled or missed targets.

With Fritsch also seemingly skating on thin ice and injuries to Langdon, Ryan and Venables, the forward line has been hit reasonably hard to start this year.

Nige

Garlett to Guelfi feels like a no-brainer.

Yep, it’s the line to upgrade as priority

ubeaut

So Fritsch dropped this week, Garlett a possible out next.

Are either likely to come back in?
Who has the better long term prospects?
Thought Fritsch played well, and Garlett has played well up to this last game.

RaisyDaisy

Fritsch could well be rested now only to return on the weekend - short turn around time so expect a few to get a break
