Does the Emergency Loophole work in the Bye Rounds?

I was "fortunate" enough to have 7 players in defence this week

I started Ruggles instead of Collins who is emergency with Tippa also on the pine

Can I swap Tippa onto the ground for Ruggles and get Collins score ?

I recall reading about the best 18 players must be on the ground but Collins should therefore count as on the ground shouldn't he ?

yes, if collins is your emergency then if you start tippa you get collins score if he is in your best 18

Cheers.  I only have 18 on the ground with Collins only valid emergency, so it will count
