Now as far as I am aware there has been no announcement as to who has been offered state contracts for this season, so that leaves us in a spot of bother.

What I will do, is hold off startign any auctions for another week, say until the 10th September, and if nothing has come up about when squads will be finalised and what not, then I think we will have to proceed with what we have listed, and run the pre-season auctions with the current set of Free agents + the de-listings being made in the next week.

The season starts on October 5th, which is 2 days after the AFL Grand Final, no time to rest, everyone need to be on their toes. I want everything to be ready and set with a week to go, then we can play the waiting game with a big countdown :)

Definitely happy to roll with that one :) The XI named in that game are they all part of this CXI that is playing in the Matador Cup do you reckon?

Brad Haddin's retirement means that he will not be available to purchase in the upcoming FA Auction. He will be available in the T20 only auction however.
