From a British Perspective Liverpool Rams are Playing Mexico Suns and Rams  have Goldy as Captain.

Nige

The Rams are very happy with Goldy's 198 and Laos loves that 210!  8)

Dublin are just unfair this week.

Scott Thompson 150 too.

I may have made a mistake or 4 so let me know if you see one.

Reindeers in a thriller
Paris Nice Lyon Reindeers(1483) Defeated Belgian Bashers(1482.89)
Final Scores:

Holy moly! What an excellent way to kick off the Champions League! A match that went right down to the wire with the Reindeers getting up by just a faction. It came down to Wingard VS Sam Jacobs and Wingard just got the better, outscoring big Sauce by 2 to secure a fantastic win for PNL.

Tigers Roar to solid start
UAE Tigers(1614.38) Defeated Swansea Breakers(1367.67)
Final Scores:

The UAE Tigers showed their dominance in their first match disposing of the lifeless Breakers in convincing fashion. Swansea only had 3 tons and that will concern them if they have any hope of moving further along in this tournament. On the contrary UAE had 13(SB) tons. Wow.

Mexico City show class
Mexico City Suns(1630) Defeated Liverpool Rams(1565.17)
Final Scores:

The Rams will feel unlucky after putting up a very good score behind captain Goldy but in the end the consistency around the park by Mexico was enough to get the W.

Wolves hunt Lambs
Macedonian Wolves(1427.15) Ate Mongolian Lambs(1285.50)
Final Scores:

Despite some very good scores from the Lamb’s players, it was ultimately a few disappointing scores from key players which led to this loss. Wolves seemed to really struggled to get going but they will take this win.

Bears feast in battle of Fyfe’s
Bangladesh Bears(1447.05) Defeated Berlin Brewers(1325)
Final Scores:

The battle of Fyfe’s Bags of Chips failed to live up to expectations with both teams below par. But the Bears potent forward line struck to give them the upper hand.

Eagles swoop on Hawks
Serbian Eagles(1502.16) Defeated Huddersfield Hawks(1338.88)
Final Scores:

The lack of depth really cost the Hawks in this one. Struggling to get their best team on field the Hawks were no match for the consistency of the Eagles.

Ales go bang
Australian Ales(1565.53) Defeated Iceland Polar Bears(1356.70)
Final Scores:

The Ales from AXV went crazy with a lowest score of 78! Polar Bears really had no chance with only 2 tons on the field.

Spetnaz over Owls in thriller
Moscow Spetnaz(1444) Defeated Oxford Owls(1441.11)
Final Scores:

After terrific match-up here with Owls VC Scott Thompson doing all he could to get his team over the line but it was not to be as Moscow led by Hogan and Gray just scraped the victory by 2.89 points.

Dublin Destroy Svalbard
Dublin Destroyers(1883) Defeated Svalbard Valkyries(1450.46)
Final Scores:

The Valkyries actually played better than the scoreboard suggests, with a score that would rival a lot of other teams. But Dublin never looked like stopping after 221 from captain Goldstein on Friday night got them off to a dream start.

Eskimo's Scrape through
Kathmandu Eskimos(1293.19) Defeated Nottingham Hoods(1268.42)
Final Scores:

In a low scoring affair, Kathmandu had just enough fire-power to get over the Hoods. Some good scores from Ryder and Ebert iced the game for them on Sunday.

Hastings prove too much
Hastings Hurricanes(1404.39) Defeated New York Revolution(1227.5)
Final Scores:

Mundy was a great captain choice from the Hurricanes and his heroics proved to be the difference as New York's co-captains could only manage an average of 90.5. A couple of OOP's also didn't help the Revolution's cause.

Strikers strike down Storm
Sri Lankan Strikers(1501.67) Defeated Swiss Storm(1330.86)
Final Scores:

A big week from the Strikers with only 1 let-down performance, nearly everyone went off. The Storm with a few good scores but in the end, no match for Sri Lanka.

Werewolves on the prowl
Winchester Werewolves(1675.34) Defeated English Lions(1374.44)
Final Scores:

The Werewolves are one of the favourites of the competition and have shown why with this stunning performance. The hapless Lions only had 3 centurions and that proved to be no match for the Werewolves who were led by Gary Ablett Jr. who scored a whopping 366! Along with that all 4 of the Werewolves starting forwards scored over 100.

KL not to be outshone
KL Crocodiles(1680.15) Defeated Toronto Wolves(1482)
Final Scores:

KL will fancy their chances at winning this group and they weren't about to be outdone by the ripping performance of the Werewolves in the previous game. In a match where both teams captained Pendles it proved to be the all-roundness of KL with monster scores everywhere you look.

Saints fortunate
Christchurch Saints(1286) Defeated Bradford Badgers(1173.63)
Final Scores:

A match that the Saints will feel like the got away with. They only scored 1286 but that was enough to beat the Badgers who were very unlucky to have Hanley as their captain which cost the in the end. Also an injury to ruck, Tom Nicholls didn't help.

Russia just win
Russian Roulettes(1510.26) Defeated Laos Elephants(1487.06)
Final Scores:

Both team definitely got their captains right in this one. Ablett(352) for Russia and Goldstein(420) for Laos made for a terrific battle but in the end, Laos were probably just 1 ton too short.

Again if you see any mistakes let me know.
