Okay, I worded that badly.

I meant in the sense that they were scoring with ease and compiling a big score.

Assuming India do the same (by same, I mean bat for two days to get close-ish to whatever Australia sets), then I can't see the game being won by either side.
But India suck :P

Eh, I think their batting is drastically better than their bowling (particularly in the XI they have out there for this match), so they shouldn't have too much trouble.

I'll wait until both teams have batted on the pitch before making a prediction.

Personally I don't rate any of their players. Pujara and Kohli showed a bit when they started out, and are both very good players, but unless they score 300 combined India will crumble. Seems to be that Indian players these days can't be bothered concentrating for more than 50 overs, as that is where the money is. (For the sake of a good series, I hope they can prove me wrong)

Also, if they lose 3-0 or worse this series they will slip to 7 in the rankings, below New Zealand. That will be embarrassing.

It's rather fitting that Hughes' three best mates in the side - Smith, Clarke and Warner - all tonned up

India wont make 550-600 so it will be a case of can we bowl them out twice?

Mailman the 2nd

India's batting and bowling are basically equally garbage.

huge potholes make it difficult.. just laughing at all of their players averages overseas

Jukes

India have a GDP per person that is 126th in the world, $5450, which is 9 times less than Australia. I think they should have more problems than keeping perfect cricket pitches...
