I least expected Eski to be the worst scoring of my three Worlds players in this game tonight.

Apart from the GF he has had a pretty bad record against the Hawks in the past couple of seasons. He has been subbed twice and scored a 38 (SC) in a full game.

For a low scoring game, it has been a great game so far. Laidler and Richards are taking quite a few intercept marks and the Swans are exploiting the Hawks back half with Buddy and Tippet. The Hawks are looking dangerous with their chains of possession through the corridor.

Hadn't actually considered his form against Hawthorn and was thinking about the recent form of all three players.

That could also have been a free the other way for being legged. Sydney have actually gotten away with quite a few high hits in that quarter with no free paid.

Umpire has to call one or the other. Either he's holding the ball or its a free to him. Umpiring has been good but Hawthorn got a lot of dubious calls that quarter
