QuoteForward Patrick Ambrose, who hasn't played since his three-goal effort against Hawthorn in round two, trained with Essendon's squad and is in contention for a return this week from a quad strain.

Was very surprised to see that it will be Hibberd's 50th game today - feels like he has been around for much longer

As far as defenders go, his first 50 games have been excellent. You don't see too many genuine backs as good as him in such a short period of games

Loved him since his first game

Think he has been around for a while, just had so many injury problems earlier in the career. Love him as a player as well!

Only really ever had that one bad hammy ping in the ANZAC Day match a couple of years back, in his fourth year now but was picked up as a 20yo iirc so that's probably while people feel he's a couple of years older than the other young guys - he is!

Don't think you need me to say how much I love the guy, the love is in my name!!

Hoping he has a big match as do the rest of my Dons today ;)

Joined the Bombers as a mature age recruit the same year as Heppell who has played 67 games and hasn't missed many. Hibbo did have an off field legal issue at one point too. Think he was given a club suspension.
He plays with a lot of maturity and hopefully can keep improving.
Will be a tough game but Go Bombers!

Mr.Craig

I remember Hibbo stinking it up on my bench in 2011. Now he's one of my premo's. :D
