whats everyones thoughts on heath shaw this yr?? I got a feeling he'll dominate circa '07 when everyone had him in their backline!

Clint-84

The good thing about him now is not everyone will have him like a couple of years ago. He definately won't have a bad year but not so sure if he can improve his average too much.

Wilkopolis

Two years ago I traded him in two weeks before the Didak incident.  I swore I would never pick him again.

Having said that, I think he would be a solid starter in the backline and shouldn't pick up as many heavy tags like 2H 2008.  Not much improvement to be had in his average though.

All the same - I still hate his guts for ruining Supercoach 08 for me......

Shaw and Fraser did not join the 24-man squad at Gosch's Paddock, but midfielder Scott Pendlebury assured Magpies' fans that both would be right to face the Saints as part of a full-strength team.

“They just had an individualised program inside today and I'd expect both players to play tomorrow night,” Pendlebury said after training......
