Isaac Kako has played every game for Essendon so far in season 2025 and is still in a lot of fantasy teams, although his scoring has been patchy with a fairly low floor. He is a crumbing forward of the old school, not one to get particularly high chasing kicks or participating in zone defence, but staying deep near goals to convert a small number of opportunities. This is a recipe for a variable fantasy output, though it does not mean he isn't useful as a cash cow. All you need out of him is one big game at the right time to supercharge his value. Perhaps tonight against the Roos?
