Riley Bice started his career at the Sydney Swans on a half back flank, arguably the easiest position on a footy field, making best use of his run and carry skills. Like his colleague Matt Roberts, he is capable of starting on a wing as well since the skill sets have a lot of crossover. Roberts has shifted from defence to wing in recent times, with Jake Lloyd starting at half forward. Does it matter for their output exactly which third of the ground they start? Yes, because back flankers tend to get more supply than those up front. Bice is still fantasy-relevant; Lloyd less so.
