After three decreasingly exciting seasons at Geelong, Wylie Buzza arrives to a team who needs someone to act like Charlie Dixon in crashing the big packs when the big bloke is injured, a role that he was born to play. In that position, Buzza's value to the team won't necessarily be measured by his personal statistical output, but about how many good crumbs he provides to teammates. As such, he has no fantasy value even if picked.
Wily move or bzzt wrong?

Little hype around Buzza
Over the last two seasons at Geelong, Wylie Buzza has only been able to muster up nine senior matches, most of which were rather underwhelming. He currently is out of contract at season’s end, so will be eager to make a statement and follow up his strong 2019 preseason when it actually counts. Buzza isn’t currently sitting in Chris Scott’s best 22. The addition of a fit Esava Ratugolea pushes him even further down the pecking order. Buzza may stake his claim, but hasn’t shown enough potential nor job security to warrant any interest in a draft selection. Pass on this big forward.
Low tone by Buzza
Geelong have needed a genuine target CHF for a while now, and they trialled Wylie Buzza in that role for six games in the second half of 2017 before dropping him for finals. The best that can be said is that he provided a contest, even though he didn't get the ball very much or sail it through the big sticks with any regularity. Lack of marks was the main problem for Buzza, as going at less than three per game is not going to cut it in the big league, though he goes a rate of five in the VFL. That should be the focus of his preseason, as Harry Taylor is not going to last forever and Daniel Menzel is more of a third tall. It's too early to consider him for fantasy though.
