The second of his name to be drafted to the AFL, Will Hamill is a tween-sized but still relatively thin half back with excellent aerobic capacity, as proven at this year's Combine. He had 15 touches in the Stingrays' TAC Cup grand final victory, which is about his normal rate. Hamill has just the sort of body shape that requires one if not two preseasons to fill out so that he can compete with adults at senior level. Expect him to spend most if not all of the season at SANFL level where he will get plenty of hard yakka.
