It will be touch and go as to whether Will Schofield will get to 200 senior games this season, as he needs ten more and that's about his average for the past three years, well into his twilight. There aren't a whole heap of gun young blokes coming through so Schofield's luck might hold for a while longer. He deserves it, though fantasy coaches won't pay much mind.

This... is Lucky Will
After playing 10 home & away matches in the past two years running, Will Schofield was dropped in September and it looked like he'd miss out. Then Brad Sheppard got injured, and he took the lifeline and a premiership medal. Jordan De Goey kicked three on him in the grand final but winners are grinners, as you will find if you ever ask Schofield about the day. He is a fascinating footy story, while fantasy coaches will look elsewhere for statistical output.
Knell for Schofield
Starting and ending last season in the WAFL was not what Will Schofield would have been expecting after being a mainstay of the senior team in 2016. Schofield will battle for a spot with the incumbents, though it seems every year under Adam Simpson the key defender depth charts gets thrown out the window.
