Riley Thilthorpe has enjoyed the start to the 2025 AFL season as much as anyone, booting big bags of goals in Crow wins with a pleasingly high floor of statistical output. Such riches do not last forever, though, and as a full forward rotating in ruck he will have his quieter days when the flow of leather is not being funneled towards him in quite such voluminous fashion. Like Sam Darcy, his numbers across the first month of season may lead some to think that the rules have changed and key position players are now premium... reality is likely to intervene sooner or later.
