Oliver Henry has had a break out year in 2024, one of three Cats to go past 20 goals already and sitting 14th in the Coleman Medal race. Perhaps it's just that the Cats have had an insane forward efficiency this year with their new turnover-based gamestyle, or maybe he is just well-coached. Either way, he has thrived as third tall forward... but the recent return of Gary Rohan to the 22 has led to a significant decrease in his production. With Shannon Neale also in the side today, the Cats attack is looking very tall. Is his bubble in mid-burst, like the rest of the club?
Oliver Henry is the sort of player that Collingwood will install in their best 22 for the next ten seasons, hopefully, but what sort of fantasy player will he be? The obvious answer is that his ceiling is Alan Didak, starting on a half forward flank and zoning up to midfield in the modern way. It remains to be seen if he can build the tank to be a fantasy premium in that role. For now he is useful as a sometimes starter in draft leagues when you hope you can catch one of his multi-goal days, as a forward 50 specialist.
