For the past two years, Nick Robertson has delivered some very solid back pocket play with a little stretch of games in which his fantasy scores look startable, then a reversion to a lower mean. Robertson's role is primarily about stopping, so don't be tempted by more than a rather desperate week to bring him off the free agent pool onto your draft league roster.

Question answered for Robertson
There was never a query on Nick Robertson's work rate, it was just a matter of finding a role at the Lions that suited him. Back pocket seems to be it, and he can consider 2017 his breakout. He tended to do his best work off the ball which, while it was entertaining to see him blue with the likes of Dustin Martin, meant he wasn't productive on the basic stat sheet. Robertson made his way onto a lot of fantasy rosters after the bye last season as he had a little purple patch that lasted about a month, though you should have dropped him by August. He should go undrafted in 2018, with the proviso to keep an eye on his scoring as he was very handy for that month and could prove to be so again as a sneaky free agent pick up.
