Mitchell Edwards is for the moment the lead ruck at Geelong, with support from Mark Blicavs and Sam De Koning at times. The ruck position at Geelon has been one of the least stable in the league across Chris Scott's long tenure, and there are no guarantees that he wouldn't be replaced by Toby Conway or Rhys Stanley at short notice. Stanley is toiling away in the VFL at the moment, though, and with Conway on the injury list with an indefinite prognosis for knee and foot complaints it appears it's his job for the moment. He is a low-level cash cow at best, to be sold when able.
