The Dogs hierarchy decided in the second half of last year that Clay Smith wasn't working as a defensive forward, so they brought Mitch Honeychurch in from the VFL where he had been playing midfield. Six games and nine shots for one goal later, he was dropped. Honeychurch has always been on the fringes of selection, and if this is how he's going to make a name for himself somewhere else other than a wing, he's going to have to do better than he did in that role. He is undraftable at this point, lucky to still be on the Dog list.
