Maurice Rioli jnr put together a sensational highlight reel last week in the big win away to West Coast, doing his surname proud with scything run downs and desperate defensive plays to set up turnovers and goals for himself and his teammates. The question mark over Maurice has never been his quality, but whether he can build any sort of a tank to run out a full game at senior level. He plays midfield when in the VFL, but he hasn't yet unlocked the secret of how to impact more than a handful of times when in the ones. If and when he does... look out, defenders!

Maurice Rioli jnr had probably his best game for Richmond last week in their loss to Melbourne, scoring 2.2 off the boot and roaming far up the ground in a high half forward role with a personal best of seven marks... beating his previous best of four the week before against the Eagles. As a Rioli he has always been given more time than other players, and if his form across the last fortnight is any indication, we might be seeing his breakout in a team which sorely needs some younger players to come on to replace triple premiership stars. One to watch for fantasy use in this role while he's cheap.
