A move from ruck to key defender paid off for Matt Eagles when he managed a string of four games last May, before a groin injury that required a reconstruction. Eagles is a crowd favourite with his dreadlocks and history from reality TV. His fantasy output is nothing to get excited about, even if he does return to the senior side.
Short flight for Eagles

Eagles still aloft
A move from ruck to defence proved a winner for Matt Eagles last year in the NEAFL, and he may become the first player from the TV show The Recruit to play a senior game. It will be a great story if it happens for Eagles, perhaps even better than the Liam Jones one. It won't matter much for fantasy though, as he is a very tall full back.
