Marcus Windhager is one of that rare breed, the modern AFL tagger. Out of favour for years in the age of zone defence, taggers have come back into vogue for some coaches who just can't let the best opposition mid dance between the raindrops and carve them up. Windhager has enough notches on his belt to make him a tagger worth tracking for fantasy coaches, but he most definitely lowered his colours last week in the loss to the Bulldogs where Ed Richards shook him off with ease, consigning him to a forward flank. Like Finn Maginness, Windhager may need to reskill.
