Liam Fawcett may have only been drafted with a lowly third-round pick in 2023, but he has shown signs already this season that he could outperform his draft currency and become a useful piece of Richmond's rebuild. Into his third year in the system, with a body shape that normally takes five to fully develop, he has shown glimpses over the past month in particular that he has a footy brain to go with his athletic attributes. While he is still not the finished article, and Tom J. Lynch is still a better option in the short term, he is a project that looks very promising.
