One of the burning questions for fantasy coaches last year was who would benefit from the new kick-in rules which loomed as a rich source of cheap points for designated kickers, and at the Eagles it was Shannon Hurn and not Lewis Jetta who snaffled the spoils. Jetta's basic stat line did not deviate at all, though he enjoyed big jumps in rebound 50s and metres gained and actually went past his captain in the latter category. The Eagles have gotten away for a few years now with few injuries to their most important players, and Jetta is a major part of their structure providing run and carry off half back. His game is not predicated on massive amounts of stats cleaning up messes like Jake Lloyd, as he starts a bit higher and wants to be more damaging with ball in hand. This makes him a tough start in draft leagues, and barely draftable.
Jetta zooms further

Jetta has afterburners
The retirement of Sharrod Wellingham and move of Elliot Yeo to permanent midfield opened up a spot on a HBF at the Eagles last season, and Lewis Jetta grasped it with glee as it suited his outside game perfectly. He marked a little more and tackled a bit less, but otherwise his stat line was remarkably similar to that when he was playing wing or HFF. Those averages still aren't enough to jet him into fantasy relevance, as Jetta needs to push his disposal average from its current 16 much closer to 20, as he was doing in his last years at Sydney. Leave him in the free agent pool, as he's more likely than not to let you down if you pick him up for a spot start.
Jetta delivers droppings
After four drops to the WAFL in 2016, it happened twice again to Lewis Jetta in the first half of last season as his senior performances were anonymous. On return in round 10 he finally found some form, which lasted about two months with cameos at best after that even though he stayed in the ones through the finals. His best form from his days in Sydney did not feature many 20-disposal totals. Jetta is another highly-rated outside runner to cross the Nullarbor to roam the wide spaces of WA grounds but get lost on the way, with Xavier Ellis and Cale Morton prime examples. Perhaps the new stadium is a fresh start? Or a move to a HBF, where he would at least get the ball more often. As it is, if you use a flier on him you'd probably drop him early in the season when the Eagles do.
