The goal sneak who has really annoyed coaches this year is Leon Davis. In 2009 he was in the leading pack of players, having a spectacular average of 99 in Dream Team and 111 is Supercoach, scoring more than 10 tons. Luke Ball made his way into the club in 2010, giving Davis less time on-ball and back to his pocket role up front.
This has led to a DT average of 63, many horrible scores, no sign of consistency, not one ton and a price drop of $184,900. In SC he averages 71, also many horrible scores, four tons and a price drop of $239,800. Looking at the stats he is more consistent in DT, but in SC he scores tons, but has no sense of consistency, scoring many 30s, 40s and 50s. Another sign of poor form in 2010 is his amount of marks, only averaging 1.8 marks per game compared to over 10 in 2009.
I bet that there is frustration from any coach who bought him this year. Extreme frustration. For any coaches who are stuck with him, I hope he picks it up, really quickly.

Davis lights up in 2009
Leon Davis' career has forever been frustrating for Collingwood supporters, and his fluctuating form in the past made him a fantasy coach's nightmare.
After his breakout year in 2008, many coaches assumed he was overpriced and unlikely to justify such a hefty starting price.
All the doubters have egg on their faces this year, as Davis has improved his fitness base and spent the majority of the year in the midfield, yet still managed to maintain a healthy goal kicking average of 1.6 goals per game.
Davis' value lies not only in his disposals per game (23) but in his tackles (4.1) and his disposal efficiency, making him slightly more attractive in Super Coach than Dream Team.
Opposing teams have now begun to tag Davis, but given he can be picked as both a forward and a midfielder and his propensity to have huge scores, he is still going to be a very attractive option for any fantasy coaches that can afford him.
