Playing out a full slate of SANFL games in his first listed year, Lachlan Sholl strung together eight out of nine games to finish the campaign with 20 or more disposals, going at a fantasy rate of 72. Sholl looks to be a nice little player, which may not be enough for him to break into a crowded depth chart at the half back flank position. One to stow away in the memory banks for another year.

You'll see Sholl for sure
Averaging 24 touches and 94 fantasy points playing half back at TAC Cup level, Lachlan Sholl went at rates of 15 and 60 at the Championships off a wing. Two tackles per game and a low contested ratio point to an outside style. Sholl is an accumulator, of that there is no doubt. To succeed at AFL level you need more than just that in your bag of tricks, so he will no doubt start at SANFL level as he learns more about how to crack in at the contest.
