Usually an irrelevant defender, Lachlan Keeffe became the talk of the town after being left out of the grand final side, with the coaching staff favouring an injured Phil Davis (and how'd that go?). While a useful utility swingman, Keeffe has never been fantasy-relevant nor a walk-up starter at either Collingwood or GWS. An improving Sam Taylor makes cracking the senior side all the more difficult.

Keeffe gives some grief
A contract extension signed in the summer granted Lachlan Keeffe another chance to establish himself on an AFL list. Featuring as a ruck-forward for his first three appearances, Keeffe spent his final five games as a defender. He had minimal impact on the stat sheet, collecting less than ten disposals per outing. An insurance policy for an injury-riddled scenario, Keefe is unlikely to feature heavily for GWS. He played senior football in 2018 largely to plug holes as the Giants suffered numerous injuries to their big men. Never one to make a habit of accumulation, stay well far of Keeffe from a fantasy perspective.
