Kamdyn McIntosh was a bit part player in the trio of Tiger premierships in their golden age just gone, but he is one of the few who have remained on the list and not sailed into the west for either retirement or a fatter paycheck. As the best of what's left, his role seems to be changing this year from dedicated winger to defensive midfielder, as evidenced by his run-with role on Nick Daicos in Richmond's sole televised preseason match. He has never been a fantasy scorer of any note, but perhaps attending many more stoppages might unlock some startable value.

Quiet in Kamdyn town
Failing to reach 20 disposals while playing 16 of the first 17 senior matches of 2019, Kamdyn McIntosh was dropped and missed the run to the flag. He had played most games since that start of 2017, usually off a wing. He suffered a syndesmosis injury to an ankle in January training. It has been a bit of a mystery as to why McIntosh lasted that long given his desultory stat lines. Whatever credits he had in the bank, they may have run out, though the departure of Brandon Ellis may restore some hope for him once he recovers from that poorly-timed injury.
K-Mac lacks knack
Despite dropping a handball and a tackle off what were already very low averages, Kamdyn McIntosh seems to be firmly ensconced in the best 22 for Richmond off a wing. McIntosh will face competition for his spot from Brandon Ellis and Oleg Markov, so whatever is keeping him in the team had better be some red-hot exotic stats because his basic ones are terrible.
Blankets by McIntosh
After recovering from an ankle injury in 2016, Kamdyn McIntosh kept up his three-year record of not playing VFL footy, though his numbers dropped back to 15 disposals per game and he only had nine touches in the grand final. His role is rotating between half back and wing, often playing defensively on opposition outside runners. McIntosh must be ticking boxes in the more exotic stat columns for his club coach to stay in the senior side for this long, because fantasy coaches would have dropped him like a stone long before now. His scoring hovered just underneath startable range for a fantasy back, never reaching 70 in the last three months.
