Jhye Clark was part of one of the more controversial trades in recent AFL history, selected with pick 7 which was granted to Geelong as part of taking on the lucrative contract of Jack Bowes from Geelong. Despite being quite early, players taken with pick 7 have a poor history of developing into 200+ game stalwarts, and Clark's development has been exceedingly slow. The Cats have had the luxury of giving him more than enough time to start winning his fair share of the footy, but at this stage they will be running out of patience... as will fantasy owners.
