An ACL rupture in preseason put Jake Patmore out for the entirety of 2019. He went at rates of a goal per game from 14 touches in the SANFL the previous year playing half forward without earning a senior debut. Patmore will compete for a vacant small forward spot with a host of other candidates, but will not be fantasy relevant even if he wins that positional battle as he is not an accumulator.

Need more from Patmore
Playing every game in the SANFL in his first listed season, Jake Patmore went at just under a goal per game roaming across half forward without ever threatening to break into the senior team. He ruptured an ACL in a SANFL trial match in March. Patmore remains behind a host of more senior players fighting for a spot on the flanks and wings, including several who jumped in front of him after being drafted last November. Avoid until he gets some selection buzz next year.
Patmore can sprint more
Picked up from the Claremont Colts side, Jake Patmore averaged 29 disposals and 102 fantasy points off a wing and sometimes at half back, adding four marks and four tackles per game and showing some nice speed off the mark. Port delisted Matt White in the off season and will hope that Patmore can develop into the same sort of player, though he is highly likely to begin at SANFL level to see if he can make the step up from under-18s and play against bigger bodies in the reserves.
