A ball magnet for the Lions NEAFL side, Jacob Allison struggled to find the ball at AFL level, more than doubling his average touches with 25 per outing in the twos but only managing a lowly tackle average of one. Allison is ready to continue battling for senior opportunity in 2020, having established his attributes in the lower tier. Until he has cemented a spot in the ones, the Lion won't be fantasy worthy. Avoid.

Rating Allison, actually
A block of three senior games in rounds 5 through 7 last season was all Jacob Allison could add to his five from the end of 2017. While he got clear for plenty of marks at both levels, he could not reproduce anywhere near his NEAFL rate of 21 disposals. Allison's body shape suggests he is in that tween zone, too thin to be a key defender but not nimble enough to escape the clutches of AFL-level runners. Some more contested footy would help his chances enormously.
All's on track for Allison
Once he made the seniors late in his debut season, Jacob Allison's numbers only dropped ten points from his NEAFL form. He played a very outside game with only five of his average 17 possessions being contested, and could only manage one goal from five games running forward from midfield. Allison's senior numbers are very consistent in an admittedly small sample size, with all games between 16 and 20 possessions. His NEAFL stats also suggest an underwhelming ceiling at this stage of his career. He will be on the edge of being drafted in your league, so you can get him with a flier.
