After playing the first eight matches of the 2017 season, Fletcher Roberts has managed just four since including two senior outings last year. Featuring at both ends of the ground in the VFL, Roberts became heavily relied upon as a versatile tall and received runner up honours in Footscray’s best & fairest. Fletcher Roberts enters the 2019 season with the potential for greater opportunity, following the departure of Marcus Adams. The additional development in his forward craft, a position he played as a junior footballer, may be of relevance as the club continue to search for scoring firepower. Even if Roberts is to gain back the confidence of the coaching staff, he will never feature as a fantasy option.
Fletch lives, barely

Fletcher walks the plank
Fletcher Roberts gave up his job minding talls to Dale Morris on the latter's return from injury mid-year, and did not wrest it back with his VFL form. Perhaps Morris will return the favour some time during 2018 when he has a farewell game. Roberts is not a fantasy accumulator in any case, even though he leads efficiency for the league.
