Ethan Read was most impressive in Gold Coast's away win over West Coast two weeks ago, dominating old man Jeremy McGovern in a traditional centre half forward role with some ruck support, but was much quieter last week in the big win away to the Demons at the MCG. The departure of Jack Lukosius in the off season was no doubt connected to Damien Hardwick hoping that Read would step up to make the most difficult position in football his own in red and gold, and he obviously has the talent to do it... but CHFs mostly do not have a high fantasy scoring floor.
