Thrown into ruck to cover the injured Max Gawn from round 6 through 10 last season, Cameron Pedersen's fantasy average leapt over a ton as he managed to stay dangerous when rotating forward as well. When demoted for Tom McDonald and then Gawn to revert to a ruck/forward role, his numbers retreated to somewhere near baseline levels. If Gawn stays fit in 2018, Pedersen's only significant value is as a handcuff, with the added bonus that he can also be startable if he hits (admittedly rare) veins of form in his normal role. Using anything more than a very late pick on him would be too much, unless big Maxy picks up an injury in preseason that looks like it might linger.
Camped in sleepy role
