Callum M. Brown is nominally a key forward, or at least he is tall enough to qualify as one. He has almost always played in the GWS system as a half forward flanker despite having the capability to play a lead-up role and take contested grabs. Like Will Hayward and Ben Long, he provides a difficult matchup with his height and strength, even if his ability to get hands on the footy can desert him for long stretches in a game. Hayward has recently moved up the ground, but Brown is still starting on a half forward flank and causing trouble when he can.

Brown in orange?
Irishman Callum M. Brown honed his craft in the reserves in his inaugural listed year. While 11 weekly possessions didn't interest fantasy coaches, plenty of explosiveness and athleticism would have excited the GWS coaching staff. Brown now enters his second year in the system, still a great length behind his teammates. Don't expect the category B rookie to feature in the senior side any time soon.
Brown is too green
The Giants' first ever Irish recruit, Callum M. Brown will need time to learn the oval ball game. Known for his explosive athleticism, Brown is assumed to start his career in attack as he begins development. Brown is a long-term proposition for the Giants. The physical profile may fit the requirements of the game and thus the Giants will focus on developing him in the secondary competition.
