Nephew of club legend Joffa and convert from rugby union, Atu Bosenavulagi spent his first year in the VFL playing 18 matches for ten goals. The Oakleigh Chargers recruit has been admired for his toughness as well as speed, used most as a pacy pressure forward. Bosenavulagi will struggle to make any inroads with such a stacked senior lineup, sitting behind a host of other young players for fringe mid/forward positions. Leave him out of any 2020 draft calculations.

Atu, brute
A rugby union convert who is recognised for his speed, hardness and willingness to tackle, Atu Bosenavulagi averaged 15 touches, three marks and 4.5 tackles across his 18 TAC Cup matches, and kicked nine goals in his last four. As a midfielder/forward hybrid, he’ll sit way down the pecking order at Collingwood, and will have to bide his time in the VFL. He’s one to watch for the future, but scratch him off any 2019 fantasy draft plans.
