Game against HP on sunny/slow, didnt expect to be going this well as expected us to rate similarly

Who are your opening bowlers? Surely Witharanage gets the newie on a Slow :P

Or maybe I'm the only person that consistently uses a medium to open the bowling. :o

...Then they put on a 100 partnership and won the game with a couple of overs to spare.

Absolutely great start to my title defence haha.   :-[ Now I have Deltron next week. I was up against an 8k deficit this week, it'll be 30 plus next week!

I wanna go back to winning everything.  :'(

To be fair usually open with Roles and Hankey, went with Roles and Withrange this time round though and its seemed to work! Tried some different orders which seem to have gone alright  ;D

EDIT: Jeez you should sus the tail wag, HP has his players skills opened so its even more noticeable aha

Oh i see you did go Witharanage for a few, good :) I just saw 4 overs bowled at drinks and thought he bowled the last 4.

28 BH runs by the poor batsman!! :o Still a very chase-able score though.

The last three wickets fell basically as soon as I posted that!

You running for SL manager?

I think ill give Withrange a power and fitness pop then work on AR or Bowling training for the rest of the season

Power would be good, fitness not as necessary. We have one of CrowsFan's superhumans coming through our ranks, 27yo and looks very similar to Udith except for fitness where he lacks majorly. Both rm ARs which makes things tough when only 1 medium goes on tour. Oh and his player has Boundary Hitter too :-\

Original plan was to not run at all, but so far no one credible has run for Sri Lanka. I'm also tossing up the idea of a fresh start so been eyeing off some other nations which may see me get a chance. Still a couple of days left I'll have a better idea tomorrow night as to who is running.

Haha spotted my name where?

Yeah good call on Scotland, see how it goes there for a season and reasses. I've probably been one of the most involved managers in the Scottish National scene ever, it's a good place.
