I wonder if he is doing the opposite of me and transitioning from youths to seniors and just doesn't know the senior market and has more cash than sense.

But then again wouldn't he have his own top quality Yths promoting into his senior side..

His 2.3m purchase of a 27 yr old 40k rating is way over the top too.

As i said though, not that i'm complaing. It's like christmas come early and my club needed some cash.

Yeah that's not right for sure. Have you been given the entire sale price as sometimes the seller doesn't get given everything if it's so very clearly an overpay.

Best player ever. Look at that average. He hasn't been dismissed in his last 5, and only twice in his last 11. He doesn't even have an average at number 4, in the 6 times he's batted there he's made 384 runs and has not been dismissed once.

Shame he won't be good enough to take into my senior squad, but being homegrown and the stocks below him being crap I might hold onto him anyway.

All good i suppose,I knew it was to good to be true.

What if i had spent all that money over the weekend though? I did contemplate it. Would they of put me 2 plus mill in the red?
This is a question i have just asked GM in reply to his bad but kinda expected admin message.

Also i wasn't accusing anyone here on FF. It's just the way things rolled unfortunately.

If i here back from GM / Admin, i shall let ya know the response.

I came damn close on the weekend to upgrading my youth academy to deluxe and buying some quality 16yr olds to train up.
What stopped me was my surprise at the 700k plus prices. I haven't sussed out the top end of the youth market yet (or haven't needed to) and didn't want to overpay ::)

Thought id be sensible, save the cash and wait a season ::)
Maybe next time if i'm that lucky.

Their response:

Hi,
If you had spent the money, then your side would have been in debt and you would have started to sell things to stop your club from going into administration.

Basically in situations like these, you are better off holding on just in case we step in and make an adjustment. If nothing is done within a week, then your probably ok.

So I didn't get a chance to set orders for the SOD game between Marlon (Pk) and I. Orders are completely flowered. Was looking forward to the win tbh.  :P :-[

Hey guys, could ya tell me what this guy would be worth or what might be a reasonable overpay on the market because i sold him for 475K and GM the power that be has again slashed my profit?? WTF!
If the is the way my future sales are to be treated because of that huge overpay at the start of the season i might have to walk away from the game.
