My main and affiliate have now played two unbelievable Youth Friendlies in a row (Both matches on Cloudy/Slow). Both U18, first one PBCC chased down 193 with one wicket in hand the ratings were 87,994 vs 87,075. And today OtR chased down 196 with 2 wickets in hand, and the ratings were 82,722 vs 82,277. Today's match I took out the one player from each side that should play NATs thus the lower ratings. Mendis (OtR) scored 74 in the chase today, and 26 of his runs were from the BH talent!

I know no one else cares but I thought I should share that, pretty exciting stuff and both sides rate so closely! PBCC had won the last 8 Youth friendlies before now as well,

My second side after I bought a squad of about 12 is home grown, and I moved to New Zealand so was Div 5 this season. All I have to worry about it is setting orders and training, as TM is irrelevant and scouting isn't really needed. I think once my team starts moving up the ranks it'll be a fair bit more work though, especially as I will rate them both equally and try for both of them to play well.



Interesting note, there were 31 runouts in my T20 league this season. 11 of them came from my fielders :D

General comments: Looks like New Zealand Div 4 is not as easy as Sri Lanka div 4, but senior leagues are going to be very difficult to promote from. My 26yo and under squad will not have any purchases as I go home grown with it. I might look at selling Kekulawala as he is the backup bat and I have a good one coming up in youths.

T20 4.8: I am closer to relegation than promotion in this league. There's a couple of teams which focus highly in SOD and not in T20 (E.g. One of the top 10 ranked sides in the world for SOD is in this league). I might just aim for 6th, seeing as I don't want to relegate (Never relegated in FTP before) and I want to give matches around to my younger players

YOD 4.5: Clearly the easiest of the leagues, with my youth squad being very dominate last season. I lose two NATs and I will have one this season, promotion is the aim here. I have 8 18yos so I need to pull some good 16yos and get them games otherwise two seasons time I will be in major trouble.

SOD 4.4: Easier than the T20 league I am in, hopefully I can be more mid-top table in this league. Got one easybeat in the league at least (Ragnaros Firelords (PkBaldy) ;)). Will still try to give games around but less so here.
