Nah just a friendly, I was meant to change orders because Mupariwa I just sold (To a team in my T20 league of all teams ::)), and wanted to play the new AR
That sucks majorly.
The Paki AR? He looks mint, lack of a talent the only real issue there. Prodigy is such a sad sight on players over 20.
UAE, but yeah that one. It was a team that just promoted as well. I play him week 2 and will no doubt be playing against Mupariwa himself.

Mupa might do you a solid in much the same way Ronchi did for the Australians in the WC final.  :P

Yeah but Mupariwa is a gun and one of my most liked players :( It won't be the same without the LM NBB opening the innings. At least I won't have to wait long, Dorenagama 2.0 is 18 now :D

Can the second Doren go past the original in # wickets do you think? I actually suspect there will be a few players in my squad that would be worth something on the market that I will just retire because I wouldn't want them playing for other clubs. :P

Chamal has 1 OD wicket already, only 216 more to go :) Gonna be a tough one but I will be trying to fit him into the lineup as quickly as I can. I will play him in PC for the early rounds as well. I think Chamal will get more maidens though, bowling those Defensive overs at the start of every innings.

Hellopplz

I got smashed by PB yesterday in a Youth friendly, now getting smashed by Alex in a T20 friendly :(. Given forgot orders for our match PB so sorry there. But wouldn't have rated much higher regardless :P.

Hellopplz

My U26 side is not looking that great, so guess my 30+ year olds will be forced to play on this season.

PowerBug

It's when I run into Humid/Uneven that I start to wonder whether this time I'm finally going to be saying goodbye to Div 1 SOD. Used to be my favourite conditions as well, now I can't field 5 seamers without playing a 21yo reli/accom fastie... Howeverrrrr last time I played iuhhui it was Humid/Uneven, albeit T20, and I played 5 seamers including Tasleem and I got a 46k upset victory... I might try it again :o

Should have mentioned you were going U26 HP, could have fielded an U26 side myself so there wasn't such a big ratings difference. :(

I forgot, was busy over the weekend and today had uni most of the day :(. Don't worry, this Thursday I'll go full strength for our OD friendly >:D.

#565
S. Knight (rfs) 2-0-21-0, T. Swift 44 (40b), H. Hunt 42 (48b)
End of over 16 (11 runs) - Opium Splendour(93-1). 14 runs required from 4 overs. RR 5.81 RRR 3.50

Nearly lost from here tonight.

16.2WGardiner to Swift : Quicker delivery that pitches and turns sharply. Swift pushes forward to defend but fails to make contact and the ball hits the pad right in front of the stumps. He was beaten by the extra pace and the sharp turn there.T. Swift lbw b. C. Gardiner 48 (42b 7x4 1x6) SR:114.29

16.3WGardiner to Dank : Clueless, utterly clueless - Dank lunges forwards and has his furniture smashed to smithereens by a wicked delivery from Gardiner. Dank won't want to see that on the replay tonight.S. Dank b. C. Gardiner 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

16.4WGardiner to Lightyear : [catch] A lofted drive goes straight into the hands of mid-off. Dunne takes the catch comfortably and that's the end for Lightyear. He is quite unhappy with himself.

16.5WGardiner to Tremor Control : [catch] What was Tremor Control thinking? Either have a go, or leave it alone. A nothing shot gives the easiest of catches to O'Leary.O. Tremor Control c E. O'Leary b. C. Gardiner 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
B. Lightyear c A. Dunne b. C. Gardiner 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

A hattrick for Gardiner!

17.3WKnight to Volta : [catch] It was a hopeless long-hop until Volta pulled it straight to Kiribui at square leg - what a mess!M. Volta c A. Kiribui b. S. Knight 2 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:66.67

H. Hunt c A. Dunne b. C. Gardiner 44 (52b 5x4 0x6) SR:84.62

That is 5 wickets for Gardiner!
18.1WGardiner to Hunt : [catch] Hunt gets forward but pushes a bit too far and it loops up to silly point who takes a simple chance.

18.21Gardiner to Roberts : [dropped] A big nick from an attempted off drive. Wedd jumped for it, but it bounced out of his hand. A tough chance, but a missed opportunity nonetheless. The batsmen run a single.

Finished 111/7, would have been interesting if he had taken that catch, as he would have been into the genuine tail enders. Would have been the ultimate rage quit if I lost from there. :P

Too good Dazburger :o

So my affiliate in it's new home New Zealand, had it's first Youth match today. In my FTP career, there has been one things that has eluded me the most, a 200 in a YOD match. My afiliate has a 193 (Priyadharshani), my main has a 193 (Rasil on debut as a 16yo), 198 and 191 (Both Aronstam). Today Menika Deepal, got there after 39.2 overs, and got out for 201 on the last ball of the innings.

And in the second innings, Duminda Thirimanne (lws) needs 30 wickets in 11 matches (He'll tour three times this season) to get to 100 YOD wickets. Unlike the guy before him (Bastian, rws) who finished on 86 and only took 19 from 14 matches in his final season playing on a Dry deck, Thirimanne took 6 to rocket up to 76 YOD wickets, and better crack the ton. :P

So how did everyone else go today? :)

Nige

Youths lost by 4 wickets.  :(

Though I only went with the suggested lineup and saved orders.

Jude Camphin (the only decent kid from my initial squad), made his first 100 (103) after previous scores of 48, 48 and 42. Got man of the match honours too.

Kirsten Roberts, the Windies kid I pulled the other day and now up for sale, made 23 and got a catch and stumping. He's at $7k now.

Hellopplz

If he can repeat that performance a few more times PB, he'll get to 100 no problems ;).

Yeah, good game Dazzle. Hopefully I can get you in the return! Just wasn't my guy's night. And with those ratings, we both should be pushing for top 4 and possibly promotion! Doubt I will though since got youngsters to play occasionally :P.
