Am very worried about my chances of doing well in Div 1 next season (PBCC). OtR rates fine for Div 2, seeing as it's purely home grown I am happy to camp in Div 2, should finish 2nd this season but will have two NATs next season.

THE RETURN CONTINUES

End of over 1 (6 runs) - Moys champions(6-1) RR 6.00
J. Hughes 0 (0b), A. Sartori 4 (4b), D. Beckford (rfm) 1-0-6-1

Off to a good start with the new signing breaking through on the third ball.

End of over 3 (1 run) - Moys champions(18-2) RR 6.00
A. Burnett 0 (3b), A. Sartori 16 (11b), D. Beckford (rfm) 2-0-7-2

Again taking another wicket, things looking pretty good at the moment.

End of over 6 (18 runs) - Moys champions(55-2) RR 9.17
A. Sartori 28 (17b), A. Burnett 20 (15b), C. Broomhead (rm) 1-0-18-0

End of over 8 (14 runs) - Moys champions(80-2) RR 10.00
A. Burnett 27 (19b), A. Sartori 46 (25b), C. Broomhead (rm) 2-0-32-0

End of over 10 (10 runs) - Moys champions(97-2) RR 9.70
A. Sartori 49 (32b), A. Burnett 38 (24b), C. Broomhead (rm) 3-0-42-0

End of over 12 (13 runs) - Moys champions(115-3) RR 9.58
A. Sartori 59 (36b), R. Selvi 5 (4b), C. Broomhead (rm) 4-0-55-0

Broomhead who is in the team to give captain Healy a rest goes for 55 runs off 4 overs. They scored 60 runs in that 6 over period and gained momentum.

End of over 15 (12 runs) - Moys champions(144-5) RR 9.60
W. Holland 8 (3b), N. Boag 10 (7b), T. Jenkins (lfs) 4-0-31-3

End of over 17 (7 runs) - Moys champions(161-6) RR 9.47
A. Mahalingam 0 (0b), W. Holland 14 (6b), M. Stewart (rfm) 3-0-26-1

After a difficult period in the match 2 new signings steadied the ship. although at a cost of some runs.

End of over 20 (1 run) - Moys champions(180-7) RR 9.00
A. Mahalingam 7 (9b), J. Otieno 1 (2b), D. Beckford (rfm) 4-0-15-3

1 run and a wicket in the last over was a good way to seal out the innings with the new signing Beckford starring with the ball.

End of over 1 (10 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(10-1). 171 runs required from 19 overs. RR 10.00 RRR 9.00
N. Claxton 4 (2b), V. Alexander 2 (2b), A. Perkins (lfm) 1-0-10-1

Although 10 runs were it in the first over the stand in captain Lanka was out second ball. Shaky start.

End of over 3 (11 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(29-1). 152 runs required from 17 overs. RR 9.67 RRR 8.94
V. Alexander 18 (10b), N. Claxton 7 (6b), A. Perkins (lfm) 2-0-21-1

The nerves seemed to have settled for the two at the crease.

6 Holland to Claxton : Claxton has hit that into the rafters. On leg stump and he picks it up and deposits it into row Z.

4 Holland to Alexander : [misfield] That's a cracking, punchy off-drive from Alexander. Really terrific timing, as he just leans into that shot and pushes it back past Holland, Otieno at mid-off dives across and can't save it, though he perhaps should have.

These two now seem really settled and look to take us home.

End of over 4 (14 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(43-2). 138 runs required from 16 overs. RR 10.75 RRR 8.62
S. Leung 2 (1b), V. Alexander 23 (12b), W. Holland (rfm) 2-0-22-1

Although we lost a wicket that over we got the run rate up to a good one.

End of over 6 (2 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(57-4). 124 runs required from 14 overs. RR 9.50 RRR 8.86
S. Leung 3 (3b), M. Stewart 1 (1b), J. Otieno (rfs) 1-0-2-2

Only 2 runs from the over but losing consecutive wickets hurts, only a couple more wickets until they can really damage us. The run rate is slowing dwon.

End of over 7 (10 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(67-4). 114 runs required from 13 overs. RR 9.57 RRR 8.77
M. Stewart 11 (7b), S. Leung 3 (3b), H. Ramage (lfm) 2-0-22-0

New all-rounder signing Matthew Stewart just doing what the team needs by this point.

End of over 9 (6 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(79-4). 102 runs required from 11 overs. RR 8.78 RRR 9.27
M. Stewart 14 (13b), S. Leung 12 (9b), A. Mahalingam (rfm) 1-0-6-0

Tight bowling and very good fielding has slowed the momentum down and put the RR under the RRR.

That is the 50 partnership (51 runs, 36b, 3x4, 2x6) SR:141.67

These two don't look like leaving the middle anytime soon.

End of over 14 (9 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(129-4). 52 runs required from 6 overs. RR 9.21 RRR 8.67
S. Leung 45 (25b), M. Stewart 31 (27b), H. Ramage (lfm) 3-0-31-0

A very good couple of overs has put us in a great position to win.

End of over 18 (11 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(162-4). 19 runs required from 2 overs. RR 9.00 RRR 9.50
M. Stewart 40 (39b), S. Leung 64 (37b), A. Mahalingam (rfm) 3-0-23-0

Anything can happen in the last couple of overs. Momentum is definitely on my side.

End of over 19 (17 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(179-4). 2 runs required from 1 overs. RR 9.42 RRR 2.00
M. Stewart 44 (40b), S. Leung 77 (42b), W. Holland (rfm) 4-0-46-1

A huge over from Matthew Stewart has put us in the best possible position to win.

2 Mahalingam to Leung : [misfield] Straight through the hands of Selvi and the batsmen pick up 2.

A misfield and there's the win! A brilliant fought out victory and some good batting got us to the win.

End of over 20 (2 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(181-4) RR 9.05
S. Leung 79 (43b), M. Stewart 44 (40b), A. Mahalingam (rfm) 3.1-0-25-0

Hilly's Heroics won by 6 wickets

   Moys champions   Hilly's Heroics
Batting - Top Order   7,437   10,865

Posting some good ratings, hoping now to update my stadiums and get more of an income.

Beckford was best in taking some big wickets and bowling tight while Leung with 79* and winning us the game.

The streak continues..... #TheReturn

PowerBug

You shouldn't be losing those games anyway ;)

I noticed you have gone very old with your side, I hope you keep the wages down...

PowerBug

As I went to set orders for my match vs Daz tomorrow I noticed I need new default orders with Zahra, Wardlaw, John all gone. :(

BratPack

Speaking of Daz I'm experiencing the DazBurg slump this season.

That is, as my focus gets shifted to my U19 Nat duties my domestic teams are going to shower  :-\

yup it happens ;)

Cookie Monster

Since #TheReturn, only my youth side have dropped a game.

They responded though emphatically.

End of over 30 (9 runs) - Hilly's Heroics(306-0) RR 10.20
S. Chanter 138 (84b), E. Sharkey 147 (99b), C. Thomas (lfs) 7-0-60-0

This 306 run opening stand put is in an almost unassailable position.

End of over 29 (maiden) - Rising Nepal(90-10). 329 runs required from 11 overs. RR 3.10 RRR 29.91
H. Bean 17 (31b), B. Lampe (rfm) 6.2-1-13-4

Then bowling them out for 90 and winning by 329 runs.
