Id say there will be extra pressure on marsh because really he is taking Hughes spot if Clarke doesnt play...

I hope he does well. Shoes glimpses of Brilliance.. Then spuds it up at times..
I read this as "shows glimpses of Ballance". Ballance, Brilliance, same thing right? :-\

the first test is only a few days away, and usually by now I'm full with anticipation, that feeling you get when the first test is about to start just isn't there for me. Phil Hughes passing away makes it feel.. I dunno, insignificant, dunno how to explain it. I don't know if I'm gonna enjoy the game. hopefully once the test starts it feels normal again

Yeah, know what you mean. Sorta wish they didnt postpone the test, but then again, since they've done that more players will play, and Ill be able to get to the game.

Did the date of the Sydney test get moved as well?

Know excatly what you are getting at. Feel exactly the same can not seem to raise the excitement level for the first test.  Hopefully goes up when first ball bowled.

@ Tabs it was moved as well Starting January 6th

The ODIs and T20s were a bit premature TBH

Not sure what CA was thinking with those ... just start with a five Test summer, too much cricket otherwise!

Especially with the World cup to follow the test series.

would rather 5 tests..wanted to see India struggle in Perth!

Mailman the 2nd

They didn't do 5 tests because the BCCI would implode if India came over and got 5-0'ed which is the most likely outcome

Kellogscrunchynut

I thought that they only reserved 5 test series for the Ashes.

I have noticed that India sometimes play an even amount of matches in their test series.
