Mailman the 2nd

Marsh is so frustrating, when he's on he's like a top 10 in the world test/ODI batsman but he just sucks so bad when he gets into rough patches.

Yeah his best is very bad but his worst is awful. I guess the good thing about picking him now is that he has scored a couple of first class tons so he is in decent touch. Hopefully he can find some consistency and minimise the gap between his best and worst. I'm not a huge fan, would prefer to stick with Doolan but Marsh oozes talent.

Marsh isnt a test player.

Not sure why we've given up on Doolan ???

Marsh is a test player. But hes flowering inconsistent and unreliable. I'm nervous, along with a lot of other Aussie Cricket fans.

Gonna be an interesting one!

Give Fergie a go!

This!!!!

Would have been the perfect opportunity to blood him if Clarke didn't come up. Home crowd, playing in honour of fallen teammate, and has a weight of runs and experience to justify his selection

Selectors don't give blokes patience any more.

Hayden, Langer, Waugh all struggled through large periods before they cemented their spots in the side. But back then they were being given time to refine their game in the national set-up, rather than playing two Tests here and three Tests there and getting dropped after one or two bad scores

Id say there will be extra pressure on marsh because really he is taking Hughes spot if Clarke doesnt play...

I hope he does well. Shoes glimpses of Brilliance.. Then spuds it up at times..

Got me tickets for day 1 in Adelaide.  ;D

Seems to be a number of FFers from SA going to the test. You guys should have a cute little get-together.  8)

luckily I'm a SACA member so I don't have to re-book tickets.

FWIW, SACA member cards will remain non-transferable for the Test, despite the public push for SACA to bend the rules and allow cards to be transferable (given the circumstances)

Hopefully will be heading to the first day of Boxing day test, funnily enough Boxing day is my birthday and have been at the G for the first day for about the last 10 years. However my manager is being stingy on letting people have time off during that period, especially since I've taken like 29th-1st off for Falls. Hopefully I will be able to go.
