B: Gibson, Lake, Spangher
HB: Stratton, Frawley, Birchall

Then we've got Suckling, Duryea, Shoey, Litherland and our depth players.

Our backline used to be the laughing stock of the AFL. Now it looks beastly. Well, it already did before Frawley but still. :P

Where does Suckers and Duryea fit in then?

Bench. Suckers further up the ground and Duryea when dealing with smaller forward lines.

ok so they are best 22 then?

Something like that? Then you have to throw Anderson and Whitecross in the mix too.

I was going to do my version of this but the only change I would make would be Duryea in for Spangher (think that backline is a tad too tall). Maybe a few positional changes too but clearly that isn't important. LOVE seeing Langford on the ball though ;D

Our direct depth at this stage (subject to player movements) looks like:

Ruck: Ceglar, Lowden
Talls: Spangher, Schoey, TOB
Mids: Anderson, Hartung, Hallahan, Woodward, Simpkin
Flankers: Whitecross, Litherland, Cheney

That's literally a total 35 players who can all play roles in the senior side at various times over the year. Exciting :)

Yeah I'd be playing Duryea over Spangher most weeks to keep that balance, otherwise we are too tall I reckon.

Very happy with Frawley as a pick up, strengthens our defence even further, and will replace Lake too when he retires. I'm a huge fan of stratton, he is an absolute gun defender and he will play a lock down roll on the smalls when required.
