Season 2014 Team Honours:

2014 John F. Kennedy Medal - Gary Ablett Jnr.

2014 East vs West Super Final Series - Game 3 victory - PSK

Selected Line-up:
West
D: K. Simpson, J. Bartel, L. Hodge, H. Shaw
M: G. Ablett Jnr (c), S. Pendlebury, S. Johnson (vc), C. Ward, J. O'Meara, T. Liberatore
R: S. Jacobs
F: R. Gray (evc), D. Martin, L. Dahlhaus, L. Bruest
U: D. Swan, T. Cotchin, B. Ebert

Emg: M. Suckling (def), K. Cornes (mid), D. Cox (ruck), C. Yarran (fwd), S. Higgins (fwd)

Result:
East 21.13.139 defeated West 18.17.125

So the end of the series is just the same as the beginning and middle- pretty average narrative in this one reporter's opinion. West's usual great scorers such as Jaensch, Murphy, Sloane, Hartlett and Walker were all poor, while East's Bartel, Pendlebury, Simpson and Liberatore were all sublime in what could be a great score (we've only had 3 games so idk) and they had many more in the best (equal to what West had last week), with only one generally spud score falling in the East in Heath Shaw. Like the last two weeks, both captains were below average! Ablett scored 75, while Dangerfield picked up 77...compared to 184 and 152 the previous week. West's heart was never in the contest through the three weeks as the player's moods at the draft camp was that of wanting to return to their home city, while the East will be celebrating their trophy, which will tour the continents before being kept at the Americas Hall of Fame museum in Canton, Ohio.

Best
East: Bartel, Pendlebury, Simpson, Liberatore, Martin, Jacobs, Ebert, Dahlhaus, Suckling, Gray, Ward
West: Boak, Beams, Sidebottom, Selwood, Lewis, Minson, Wingard, Birchall, Harvey

Jimmy Bartel awarded ALL-AMERICAN

Scott Pendlebury awarded BEAST OF THE EAST
Josh P. Kennedy awarded EAST-VS-WEST MVP
