The hawk boys have plenty of flags just extending there careers and finances as long as possible , but I do not see why the Dees would chase Lewis , Rockliff would be a better fit even with his problems

Surely teams like the Giants, Dogs, and Crows would target guys like Wells, Mitch and Lewis more to help their cause, but maybe it's just the Hawks being strategic and not trading guys to teams they think they're competing with for top 4.

Lewis mentioned on 360 that most of the Hawks players sacrificed their salary for the good of the team. Clarkson would tell them that if you are part of a dynasty, people will pay you plenty of money after your career (I'm not sure what as but most likely as a coach... or a motivation speaker  :P ).

I think Lewis realises that it's best not to take the risk and is trying to maximise payments while he still has some earning potential

The Giants have an overflow of talent and have to reduce there cap anyway the Doggies are doing fine with there fantastic coach but yep the Crows probably could have gone after someone like Lewis but are all tied with the Blues trying to get Softie

Hartung, Whitecross and O'Rourke being mentioned in dispatches at Brisbane. O'Rourke the surprise addition over the week end.

Been hearing that too

Hawks get rid of fringe depth and get JOM - smart play by them considering GC were demanding a gun

elephants

Stoked with Smitch, back in premiership contention imo. Smitch and Adams would be a magic trade period if we can wrap that up!

Heard we're close on dealing pick 41 for GWS big man James Stewart, would be a good pick-up as support for Daniher for cheap with great physical measurables

We could always use a third tall to hold our forward line together for the next 10 years!

Stewart could be the next Gunston if he gets a good run at it. Would be a great pick up for the Dons.
