So, according to the BLT facey page:

- Emac wants to stay at the Iggs, but Mitch Brown will explore FA
- Lions interested in Alex Silvagni
Silvagni would be a good fit at Brissie. Tough as nails and a good stopper

Is he really going to bring anything though? 29 at the start of next season and won't be around for any success. Should they just be grabbing youth and playing the long game?

Our oldest defender is going to be like 21, so I don't mind it to just have that one experienced defender. The retirement of Clarke due to concussion has hurt us more than anyone could realize tbh.

So play another kid and who gets 5 kicked on him every week??
They need experience and stability down back now they've lost Merrett

Will be happy with one of frost or Silvagni for stability.  As GL Clarkes concussion really hurt our development so we need a defender while others continue to develop.  Gardiner, Andrews, McStay, Skinner will be great going forawrd but need someone big bodied for a year or 2 while they develop physically.

1/3 I've come under fire for first reporting Dustin Martin's manager toured Moorabbin, linking Dusty with a move to the Saints #AFLTrades

2/3 Well, it had enough substance to warrant the Crows, believing Martin is gettable, to make direct contact with Ralph Carr #AFLTrades

3/3 Boasting a sizeable post-Danger war chest, I believe Adelaide have tabled a 5 year $6M deal to Martin, blowing the Saints offer away.

Saints have that much money, no offer would blow them away haha.

Yeah I'd say so, just interesting. Been reports this week that the Crows have salary cap issues so one of them is wrong. I'd prefer the Dusty one to be true :P

Wow, Bruest could be sent to GC to secure JOM  :o

great trade for gc if it is true.
Yep would give Suns a forward line of Lynch, Bruest and Wright. Not bad targets if they can get the mif field right.

Hawks have since come out and denied it

I reckon Sicily is a much bigger chance of being moved

PowerBug

Who cares if OMeara goes to Hawthorn? Bloke will sit on their injury list for his career anywhere and the Hawks will give up something good for him! Hawks would be much better off going after Tom Mitchell.
